SJ Giants in the Arizona Fall League

Roster for the Arizona Fall League were announced today and two former and one current SJ Giant will represent the organization. When banning is necessary

Fan hits player with baseball, banned from minor league park for life: "A fan has been banned for life from Richmond Flying Squirrels home games after a foul ball he threw back onto the field hit the opposing team's pitcher." Belt moves up again

Belt joins elite club in Triple-A debut: "Making his Triple-A debut Wednesday, Brandon Belt became the second Minor Leaguer with 20 homers, 20 doubles and 20 steals." (Via MiLB News Index.) Former SJ Giant Brandon Belt stayed in Richmond long enough to add 9 home runs to his total. He didn't waste much time adding to the total in his first game with the Grizzlies. Congrats Brandon! Boof's back in the Bay Area

A's update: What's in name? Don't ask Boof Bonser: CHICAGO: Right-hander Boof Bonser was promoted from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday, giving the A's a long reliever for the bullpen and giving Coco Crisp a battle for most entertaining name on the roster.
