The baseball season is getting closer!
Spring Training for the San Francisco Giants starts this week with pitchers and catchers reporting this Thursday. Position players arrive next week on the 22nd.
Five players with last years San Jose Giants have made the 40-man Spring Training Roster, Pitchers Brian Burres, Merkin Valdez, and Alfredo Simon, infielder Lance Niekro, and outfielder Fred Lewis.
While the home-opener is still two months away, the SJ Giants will start the season on the road in Visalia on Thursday, April 7. Is anyone planning on going?
