Remote Control Japan:
I think that Japan must be operated via remote control - I‚m not kidding! On my coffee table there are no less than five remotes and most of the buttons are in Kanji! The living room is not the only place that there are remotes - each bedroom has two remotes. Some you would expect and some just seem a little over the top to me.

Shane Sakata is in Japan and can turn on the lights remotely. Hopefully we will get some remote baseball updates soon.

Giants' Denker hits homer in win over Cubs: "MESA, Ariz. - Travis Denker doesn't realize just how much is riding on his success. Not only is he the first player traded from the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Giants since Candy Maldonado in 1985, but he also was part of the first transaction between Giants General Manager Brian Sabean"

Andrew Baggarly continues to write good stories about former SJ Giants. In it, we learn that Travis Denker, played game five of the Cal League Championship with a broken rib. So far, in Spring Training games he is 4 for 9. Keep hitting the ball Travis.
