While you probably missed the fourth inning of yesterday's SF Giants game (because you were at Muni watching another thrashing of the Blaze), it was something to behold. Former SJ Giants John Bowker, Brian Bocock, Tim Lincecum, and Fred Lewis put on a show.
Bowker started it off with his second home run in two games to give the Giants a 3-2 lead. After an out, Bocock hit his first extra base hit of the season and scored moments later on a hit by Lincecum. Lewis followed with a double and moved Lincecum to third. Both scored on Eugenio Velez's single.
The SF Giants are learning things that we have known for years. Our kids can play the game, all they need is a chance.
