That was Mike Krukow's description of the big Giants six run third inning against St Louis today.
The "Bowker" was a 412 foot, 2 run no doubter. Since being called up, John Bowker (SJ Giants, 2006) is hitting .421 with 3 home runs and 9 RBI in 19 at bats. Congrats John, keep swinging that bat.

Pablo Sandoval was apparently feeling under the weather tonight in Visalia. But you couldn't tell that after he smacked a 2 run homer in the third inning. All told, Pablo had three hits, three RBI, and scored three runs. But it wasn't quite enough for player of the game honors. Andy D'Alessio had four hits, four RBI (including the game winner), and scored twice.
Not to be outclassed by the hitters, Kevin Pucetas went six scoreless innings to drop his league leading ERA. The bullpen was a little shaky and allowed Visalia back into the game. But the Giants scored three runs in the top of the tenth to steal the game.
