Vizquel very close to returning: "The Giants announced on Monday that shortstop Omar Vizquel, who's creeping closer to returning from left knee surgery, will continue his Minor League injury rehabilitation assignment on Tuesday with the organization's Class A San Jose affiliate." (Via San Francisco Giants News.) I believe that his last visit to Muni was as a Salinas Spur in 1987. From the story, it sounds like he may play a couple games in San Jose this week. It should be fun to watch. Enjoy the game.
