I am looking at the "San Jose Giants Headlines" this afternoon at SJGiants.com:

It makes you wonder if baseball is even involved.

This on a day when more SJ Giants were selected for the California - Carolina League All-Star Game than most of us can ever recall.

Twenty five and seven

That is best home record in the Minors. It is better than the Salt Lake Bees who started the season with an amazing 21-1 record and are now 20-8 at home.

The SJ Giants are .500 on the road and .781 at home. That is feeling comfortable at home. The fans are doing they part.

Good job, I will see you at the park.

Five SJ Giants in All Star Game

Unless they get promoted, five SJ Giants will not have a break during the All-Star break. Pablo Sandoval will be joining pitchers Tim Alderson, Jesse English, Kevin Pucetas and Ben Snyder on a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC in two weeks. They will be joined by the coaching staff who make the trip as a result of last year's Championship.

That is a whole lot of Giants heading to South Carolina.
