Heading to Beijing

Giants' Espineli named to U.S. Olympic team:

Three former SJ Giants are going to Beijing next month. Geno Espineli (2005) will play against Brooks McNiven (2006) and Chris Begg (2008) at Wukesong Baseball Stadium in Beijing on August 16 when the U.S. plays Canada. All three were teammates at Fresno earlier this season. Congrats to Geno, Brooks and Chris!

Update (7/21/08) - I missed that Chris Begg had be added to the 2008 SJ Giant roster, woops.
