Even though, he is one of the biggest MLB in SJ cheerleaders, Purdy apparently realizes that not everyone wants to drive 40-50 miles, drop a $20 for parking, and sit where the ushers are Sherpas.
The SJ Giants are first on Purdy's list of Bay Area sports bargains. Here are a few things that he forgot to mention. The SJ Giants have been in the playoffs every year since 2004 and won the Cal League Championship twice in that period. There are currently at least 35 former SJ Giants on Major League rosters, including 12 on the SF Giants active roster.
